Master John Jensen began his training in Tang Soo Do in 1988 with Master David Schmitt in Dubuque, Iowa. His main instructor at the time was Master Ted Rolling. He then moved to Cedar Falls, Iowa and continued his training under Master Lee Mattox earning his Cho Dan in 1995 and then earned his Sah Dan Master rank in 2016. Currently, he is the chief instructor for the Waverly Karate Club in Waverly, Iowa. He enjoys teaching ground fighting, sparring, Ho Sin Sul (self defense), and Hyungs (forms) and has graciously shared his knowledge at many training clinics.
